The author also offers his definition of classic, great, good, and bad books in poetry form. The illustrations by Kyle Stone are very vibrant and will catch the attention of anyone’s eye.

Activity: With this book you could have the students write there own poem about reading, or about thie library. With the one poem called “Great, Good, Bad” you could have the students name books that they think are good and some they are no so fond of. Have them explain why they think the books are good or bad, and what are the characteristics of a good book and of a bad book?
