Overview: This book is about a toddler named Toto, who lives in Cameroon, West Africa. Toto is known for loving to eat which is how he got his name Toto Gourmand. One day he went to the market with his grandmother, Big Mami. Every time Big Mami looked for Toto he was getting into trouble by eating things at the market. He ate so much food that people began to get angry and they had to return home, where he continued to eat.
Activity: An activity that could be done for this book is to make a time line for the book. They would write every event where Toto got into trouble for eating and illustrate those events.
