Genre: Picture Book
Audience: Gr. PreK-2
Overview: Charlotte and Simon are twins but couldn't be more different. They like to eat different things, play with totally different toys, and do almost everything in a different way. But Charlotte loves Simon and Simon loves Charlotte. They like what the other does and enjoy being twins. Charlotte is Charlotte and Simon is Simon, but they are two peas in a pod and love being siblings.
Activity: This is a good book to use for building relationships with siblings. It is important to understand that everyone is different and have special qualities. We are all individuals and have certain ways of thinking. An activity could involve "what makes me special or different" and draw the things about oneself to explain what makes each child special.
